Responsibilities
- Lead strategic roadmap development for emerging technologies including quantum computing and generative AI
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions addressing climate, healthcare, and accessibility challenges
- Develop go-to-market strategies for experimental technologies with $50M+ TAM
- Advise executive team on technology investment decisions and portfolio optimization
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible innovation and deployment
- Represent company at global tech forums and policy summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/metaverse)
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Executive experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 100+ members
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier publications
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, C++, etc.)
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain US government clearance
