Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to develop 2026 strategic roadmap
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Build partnerships with Silicon Valley startups and research institutions
- Present technology forecasts and disruption analyses to C-suite and board members
- Design pilot programs for next-gen technologies (neuromorphic chips, decentralized AI)
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of radical innovation
- Report on KPIs: technology adoption rates, ROI on innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology
- Track record of launching tech initiatives with $10M+ budgets
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Technology
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or equivalent
