Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and product teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and measure ROI of futuristic initiatives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author thought leadership on disruptive technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, sustainable tech) and adoption frameworks
- Experience in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech startup environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation (e.g., CFTE, CSTM)
