- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies with >5-year adoption potential
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and venture capital firms for emerging tech incubation
- Present technology strategy to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven risk assessments
- Drive ESG integration into technology development cycles for sustainable innovation
- Mentor senior engineers on future-proof architecture principles and ethical AI implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with demonstrated 2026+ vision
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to commercial deployment
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Proficiency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for frontier technologies (FDA, FCC, EU AI Act)
- Certifications in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP) or emerging tech governance
