- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human augmentation technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and external stakeholders including government agencies
- Manage innovation budgets exceeding $5M for experimental R&D initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on technological singularity preparedness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting models
- Deep understanding of global tech policy landscapes (US/EU/Asia regulations)
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/DF) or Technology Innovation Management
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, etc.)
