Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and AI governance frameworks
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging tech trends (Web4, biocomputing, spatial internet)
- Partner with VPs of Product to translate future-vision into actionable development priorities
- Build and lead a cross-disciplinary 'Future Tech Task Force' with MIT/Stanford affiliations
- Secure strategic partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and quantum research institutions
- Present quarterly technology briefings to C-suite and board members
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with published research in quantum/AI
- Proven track record leading multi-million dollar R&D initiatives
- Deep expertise in blockchain, neuromorphic computing, and climate tech
- Experience securing federal grants (SBIR, NSF) for experimental research
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 patented technologies in development
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global tech ecosystem engagement
