Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry disruptors
- Present technology forecasts and innovation strategies to C-suite executives and investors
- Mentor senior engineers and researchers in emerging technology adoption
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging technologies
- Secure and manage R&D budgets exceeding $10M annually
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching market-defining technology products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience presenting at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Deep understanding of patent law and intellectual property strategy
- Strong network within Silicon Valley research institutions
- Certification in technology forecasting (e.g., Gartner, Forrester)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Spanish preferred for global partnerships
