Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, bio-integrated systems) with 10-year impact horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations and market opportunities post-2025
- Develop technology roadmaps aligning with sustainability goals and regulatory frameworks
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future tech into corporate vision and operations
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members with data-backed projections
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and design teams
- Author thought leadership publications on technological convergence and future scenarios
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, EPA)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Published author or speaker at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Fluency in technology forecasting frameworks (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
