- Design and implement innovation frameworks including horizon scanning, scenario planning, and rapid prototyping
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions, venture capital firms, and government innovation labs
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Manage a $10M+ innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI analysis and risk mitigation protocols
- Mentor a team of futurists and data scientists to cultivate next-generation technical talent
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-focused roles (e.g., Chief Futurist, Innovation Director)
- Proven track record of successfully implementing emerging tech strategies (quantum, AI, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, patent analysis, and technology forecasting models
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Certifications in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or strategic foresight methodologies
