Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps anticipating 2026 market disruptions
- Analyze emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify strategic opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing pilot programs for next-gen technologies
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the executive board
- Establish KPIs to measure ROI of future technology investments
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with 8+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record of forecasting and implementing future-facing technologies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum computing)
- Exceptional data analysis and strategic planning abilities
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication expertise
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M
- Certification in technology forecasting or innovation management preferred
