Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI/quantum/sustainability convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Secure partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global innovation hubs
- Translate emerging research into scalable commercial applications
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and government stakeholders
- Mentor PhD researchers in technology ethics and implementation
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and market disruptions
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in emerging technology strategy at FAANG or top-tier research institutions
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent AI/quantum journals
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Proven track record of scaling research to $10M+ commercial products
- Deep understanding of quantum computing architectures and AI safety frameworks
- Security clearance eligibility (for DoE/NASA collaborations)
