Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy roadmap for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Analyze market trends and competitor tech stacks to identify first-mover advantages
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption success and ROI measurement
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy discussions on future tech governance
- Mentor junior strategists and build internal technology foresight capabilities
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of technology convergence patterns and paradigm shifts
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong stakeholder management across C-suite, investors, and technical teams
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Certification in technology management or strategic foresight preferred
