Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI ethics, quantum algorithms, biotech interfaces)
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 R&D divisions
- Present visionary briefings to C-suite executives and board members on emerging tech opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 technology paradigms and their societal impacts
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for experimental technology incubation projects
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies and technology assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, with 5+ years in emerging tech or futurism roles
- Proven track record of launching at least two disruptive technologies to market
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech ecosystems
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent advanced degree
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets from private/public sources
- Publish record in peer-reviewed journals or major tech publications (e.g., Nature, IEEE)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python preferred) and data visualization tools
- Clearable US security clearance or willingness to obtain one
