Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for early-stage tech acquisition
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts affecting technology strategy
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech evaluation
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused technologies with measurable ROI
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or biotech convergence
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex tech concepts to executive audiences
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams
