Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, aligning with global sustainability and digital transformation trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, and synthetic biology
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies through academic partnerships and startup ecosystems
- Create strategic frameworks for ethical AI implementation and responsible innovation adoption
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Build and maintain relationships with research institutions and technology innovation hubs
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms and their societal impacts
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or emerging technology research
- Proven experience with horizon scanning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into actionable insights
- Track record of developing and implementing technology roadmaps that drive business value
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Strong presentation skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management preferred
