Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy with focus on AI/ML integration, quantum applications, and circular economy solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies in our innovation labs
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and competitive threats to inform strategic decisions
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through grant applications and strategic partnerships
- Present technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of radical innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in tech strategy with 3+ years in emerging technologies (AI/quantum/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough products or patents
- Expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley R&D communities and academic institutions
- Experience with agile development in hardware-software integration projects
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
