Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) with 2026 market impact
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across product lines
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, or synthetic biology
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technology adoption curves
- Experience with patent strategy and IP portfolio development
- Executive presence with excellent stakeholder management
- Advanced degree in STEM field or MBA preferred
- Published thought leadership on future tech trends
