As an integral member of our R&D leadership team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional pioneers to identify, evaluate, and integrate breakthrough technologies that will define our competitive edge. You'll lead horizon scanning initiatives, assess disruptive innovations, and develop implementation frameworks for technologies poised to reshape industries by 2026.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Conduct feasibility assessments and ROI projections for next-gen technologies (AI, quantum computing, Web3, etc.)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and validate technology adoption strategies
- Present technology insights to C-suite executives and board members to inform strategic decisions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and technology consortia
- Create thought leadership content to position company as future-tech authority
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of integrating emerging technologies into enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or biotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to assess complex technical landscapes
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional technology initiatives
- Strong communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
