Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate disruptive solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and startups to accelerate innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology deployment and risk mitigation
- Drive R&D investments in next-gen infrastructure (autonomous systems, decentralized networks)
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or product development with proven impact in emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology, or climate modeling
- Track record of launching products/services with $10M+ ARR or equivalent impact
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Strong proficiency in strategic frameworks (e.g., Porter's Five Forces, SWOT, scenario planning)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants or corporate R&D funding
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Agile/Scrum or innovation management methodologies
