Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for strategic adoption opportunities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future tech initiatives
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for technological disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with data-backed insights
- Manage pilot programs for prototype technologies in controlled environments
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI frameworks, or synthetic biology
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Strong understanding of global tech policy and ethical implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
