Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact analysis
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps for quantum computing and AI integration
- Conduct competitive intelligence on next-gen tech adoption patterns
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget allocation for experimental technologies
- Build and lead a specialized team of futurists and technical architects
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in scaling innovative tech products from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capability
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFTE)
