Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for emerging technologies including generative AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify high-impact opportunities
- Develop commercialization strategies for breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year horizons
- Partner with R&D to align scientific innovation with market needs and customer pain points
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional teams to execute pilot programs and proof-of-concepts
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation management
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts
- Experience building business cases for high-risk/high-reward innovations
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business preferred
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- History of successful product launches in tech-forward markets
