Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, neural interfaces, sustainable tech)
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives with 15+ engineers and scientists
- Identify and evaluate breakthrough technologies through market analysis and patent research
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech leaders
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Mentor next-generation innovators through our Future Leaders program
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budgets through compelling business cases
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products (quantum/AI/biotech preferred)
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry expertise
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with C-suite experience
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong programming background (Python/Java) and systems thinking
