Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ technology strategy aligned with market forecasts and company vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech interfaces) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling next-gen solutions
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and industry pioneers
- Present technology roadmaps to investors and board members with data-driven insights
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, patent development, and thought leadership
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption and adapt strategy accordingly
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, or space tech)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and futures forecasting methodologies
- Published thought leadership in technology trends (patents, journals, or keynotes)
- Proficiency in technology assessment frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Toffler's Future Shock)
