Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions and regulatory frameworks
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging tech disruptions
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present technology strategy to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage innovation portfolio with $10M+ annual R&D budget
- Drive ethical technology governance frameworks for 2026 compliance
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures from concept to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight or innovation strategy
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (FDA, FCC, GDPR, etc.)
- Exceptional stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
