Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech convergence) and assess commercial viability
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer breakthrough solutions
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of radical innovation across technical teams
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience communicating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management (e.g., from World Future Society)
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry white papers
