Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews to identify innovation opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and boards of directors
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused technology investments
- Build and maintain partnerships with leading research institutions and tech startups
- Author thought leadership content and represent the company at global tech forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies with measurable business impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business required; PhD preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in technology forecasting and scenario planning
- Experience managing cross-functional teams of 15+ technical professionals
- Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technologies preferred
