Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmap focusing on quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies through patent analysis, academic partnerships, and startup scouting
- Develop strategic frameworks for technology adoption and risk mitigation
- Present technology forecasts and innovation opportunities to C-suite and board members
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation decisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing at least two emerging technologies
- Expertise in quantum computing, generative AI, or blockchain architectures
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Innovation
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major industry conferences
- Experience managing distributed technical teams across 3+ continents
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
