Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess their commercial viability for 2026 market integration
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and industry disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities and prioritize R&D investments
- Conduct scenario planning for technological disruption and prepare mitigation/adaptation strategies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members using data-driven frameworks
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Monitor global regulatory landscapes and anticipate policy impacts on emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and translating insights into market advantages
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps and innovation frameworks
- Strong presentation skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Strategic thinking with ability to balance long-term vision with near-term execution
