Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology adoption roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology priorities
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory impacts on emerging tech ecosystems
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Manage vendor partnerships for pilot programs of cutting-edge technologies
- Produce annual FutureTech Impact reports with actionable insights
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech roles
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives from concept to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in emerging technology foresight (e.g., FTI, Gartner) preferred
- Experience with technology roadmapping frameworks (e.g., TAME, Tech Radar)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published research or thought leadership in future technology trends
