Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across business units
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate quantum computing and AI solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape research for future tech domains
- Present technology forecasts and investment recommendations to executive leadership
- Manage pilot programs for breakthrough technologies (e.g., neural interfaces, decentralized AI)
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech roles
- Expertise in at least two future tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, biotech, or Web3
- Proven track record of scaling experimental technologies to commercial products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of technology convergence patterns and disruption vectors
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields preferred
