Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with global market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, and designers in prototype development
- Identify emerging tech opportunities (quantum, AI, biotech) for strategic investment
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board members with data-driven insights
- Collaborate with MIT, Stanford, and other premier research institutions for joint ventures
- Manage $50M+ R&D budget with ROI-focused allocation decisions
- Drive sustainability initiatives by integrating green tech into all innovation pipelines
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in C-suite or VP-level roles
- Proven track record launching breakthrough products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, generative AI, or synthetic biology
- PhD or MBA from top-tier institution (Stanford, MIT, Harvard, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in journals like Nature Technology or Harvard Business Review
- Experience scaling teams from 10 to 500+ members in hypergrowth environments
- Strong network with VCs, policymakers, and Fortune 500 innovation officers
- Fluency in Mandarin, German, or Japanese for global stakeholder engagement
