Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neuromorphic AI integration
- Lead moonshot projects in autonomous systems and decentralized networks
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with business objectives
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies including generative AI and neurotech
- Manage $10M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology incubation
- Represent company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, Foresight Conference)
- Mentor next-gen engineers in exponential technology adoption strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent disruptive experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI or quantum systems
- Proven track record of launching technologies with >$100M market impact
- Expertise in exponential technology frameworks (Singularity University, Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Deep understanding of Web3, AGI safety protocols, and human-computer symbiosis
- Security clearance preferred (DOD/DoE projects)
