Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 innovation milestones
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology) and their commercial implications
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Create impact assessments for disruptive technologies on existing business models
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior futurists in technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies to market
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
