Responsibilities
- Lead strategic roadmapping for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech initiatives with 2026 market forecasts
- Manage cross-functional R&D teams across 3 global innovation centers
- Develop patent portfolios and intellectual property strategies
- Present findings to stakeholders and industry panels at global tech summits
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical frameworks for emerging tech
- Drive partnerships with leading universities and research institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier conferences
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of scaling tech innovations from lab to market
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical frameworks
- Experience securing $10M+ in research funding or venture capital
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
