Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Collaborate with C-suite to prioritize R&D investments in frontier technologies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members
- Oversee prototyping of next-gen systems in our innovation lab
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products (3+ case studies)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Experience scaling teams across multiple innovation centers
- Prior work with venture capital or Fortune 500 tech strategy teams
- Exceptional communication skills for executive stakeholder management
