Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligning with market forecasts and organizational objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, blockchain, quantum computing, and biotechnology integration
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with potential 2026-2030 impact
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and acquire emerging startups
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and ROI measurement
- Represent company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in C-suite advisory roles
- Proven track record of launching technologies with >$100M market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business required; PhD preferred
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech innovation hubs
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication mastery
