Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead research initiatives in emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, space tech)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-forward solutions into development pipelines
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present technology forecasts and innovation frameworks to C-suite and investors
- Mentor cross-functional teams on emerging technology adoption strategies
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting 2026+ landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, climate tech, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences and investor communities
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio of published research or patents in emerging technologies
