Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology foresight initiatives to identify and assess emerging trends through 2026 (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 5-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to position Nexus for future disruption
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize R&D investments and pilot projects
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Build and manage a network of external futurists, academic partners, and industry experts
- Drive a culture of innovation through workshops, hackathons, and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or innovation management at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and stakeholder management expertise
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives or published thought leadership
