Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI, etc.) with 5-10 year market potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and integration across business units
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for technological disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build partnerships with research institutions and industry thought leaders
- Manage innovation budget and ROI tracking for future technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting technological trends and market shifts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and investors
- Strong project management skills with PMP or equivalent certification preferred
