Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, decentralized AI) to develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Lead innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams to prototype future-proof solutions
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and ROI on R&D investments
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and investors with data-driven insights
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Develop ethical guidelines for next-generation AI and automation systems
- Manage a $2M+ innovation budget with quarterly impact reporting
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in emerging tech trends (quantum computing, generative AI, biotech convergence)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong track record of launching products with 5+ year vision horizons
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
