Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends and market disruptions to develop strategic 2026+ roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology investments with business objectives
- Present strategic recommendations to investors, policymakers, and industry consortiums
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor ecosystems for experimental projects
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at global tech forums
- Mentor junior strategists and build a high-impact innovation pipeline
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience securing government grants or venture funding for experimental projects
- Fluency in strategic forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, etc.)
- Portfolio of published research or patents in emerging technologies
