Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with 2026 market potential (quantum computing, AR/VR convergence, biotech integration)
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across enterprise products
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and investors
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and startups pioneering next-gen solutions
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology deployment
- Drive R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual innovation budget
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, spatial computing, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, journals, or keynotes)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
