As a key member of our executive innovation team, you will identify disruptive trends, evaluate emerging technologies, and develop strategic frameworks that position Nexus as a global leader. You'll collaborate with MIT, Stanford, and international research consortia to pioneer solutions for climate resilience, human augmentation, and decentralized systems.
Responsibilities
- Scan global tech ecosystems to identify breakthrough innovations with 2026+ impact
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs and market evolution
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum-AI convergence and bio-digital interfaces
- Establish partnerships with frontier labs (e.g., CERN, Allen Institute) for co-development
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board for strategic investment decisions
- Author thought leadership on exponential technology adoption curves
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic tech roles with proven impact on 5+ year roadmaps
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Computational Physics
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technology adoption patterns
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum machine learning, neurotech, climate modeling
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for speculative technology initiatives
- Portfolio of implemented future-tech strategies with measurable ROI
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., WFS, APF)
