Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, decentralized networks) for commercial viability
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their implications for product development
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough tech products
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFS, CSSP) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating technology innovation leadership
