Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, identifying emerging trends in quantum computing, generative AI, and biotech
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable product roadmaps
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis of disruptive technologies
- Author thought leadership reports on ethical AI implementation and sustainable innovation
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and integrate emerging startups
- Design resilience frameworks for technological black swan events
- Mentor junior futurists and foster a culture of radical innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven experience with emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., APF, WFS)
- Experience advising C-suite on digital transformation
- Portfolio of implemented future-tech initiatives
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning abilities
