Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies through patent analysis, startup scouting, and academic partnerships
- Lead $5M+ innovation budgets across R&D labs in Palo Alto and Boston
- Present strategic briefings to Fortune 500 clients on future tech adoption pathways
- Develop IP strategy targeting 50+ new patents in next-gen computational systems
- Chair quarterly 'Tech Horizon' summits with MIT and Stanford research heads
- Oversee commercialization of 3+ breakthrough technologies annually
Qualifications
- 12+ years in tech strategy with proven success in emerging tech commercialization
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Quantum Physics with 5+ years industry practice
- Published author in Nature/Science on future tech trends (2019-2024)
- Track record leading $10M+ R&D budgets with 30%+ YoY innovation ROI
- Deep expertise in quantum computing architectures and neuromorphic systems
- Strategic advisory experience with Big Tech or top-5 venture capital firms
- Certified in Future Foresight Methodology (FFM) and Tech Impact Assessment
- Fluency in Mandarin and Japanese for APAC market expansion
