Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry forecasts and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3.0)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough innovations and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with leading research institutions and startups
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their implications on business strategy
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in scaling disruptive technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in future-gazing methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi technique)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Deep understanding of emerging tech trends (AI, biotech, sustainable tech)
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with agile development and lean innovation frameworks
