Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for post-2025 digital transformation
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and synthetic biology
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 10x potential impact
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for next-gen innovations
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for experimental technology incubation
- Partner with MIT, Stanford, and other research institutions for breakthrough collaborations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or corporate innovation leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching category-defining products
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on future technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Executive presence with ability to articulate complex concepts simply
