Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AR/VR, decentralized systems)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape evaluations in emerging domains
- Collaborate with CTO to integrate future tech into product roadmaps
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Manage technology innovation partnerships with leading research institutions
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology adoption and ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, neurotech)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact modeling
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech innovation ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
